Nursing & Allied Health

Nursing & Allied Health

With the medical sector expanding each year, many career opportunities are available for students with an education in Nursing and Allied Health. The programs offered through this division prepare students to be successful in a variety of medical environments. Graduates of our programs also have the option of continuing their education by pursuing a bachelor's degree at a four-year university.

All programs within this division share the common mission to "proactively provide excellent education and training to a diverse population, utilizing flexible instructional methodology while meeting the area's workforce needs." Programs meet state and national accreditation standards and are geared towards hands-on learning, as well as meeting academic rigor needed to meet workforce needs. If you like working with people, like providing care to the sick or injured in pre-hospital or hospital settings, would enjoy working alongside a surgeon in the operating room, or a physician in her/her office, or if you want to work in a clinical laboratory setting performing diagnostic tests, we have a program for you.
