In an effort to provide clear communication and transparency, the Human Resources Department is implementing a monthly "Asked and Answered" newsletter for the college community. The questions will be compiled throughout the month and on the first day of every month, a newsletter with the questions received will go out with the answers attached. There will be a couple of ways for you to get in your questions throughout the month and they are listed below:
- A blue card will be available at all SLCC forums, meetings and town halls where employees can grab a card and submit into the asked and answered box anonymously.
- A link to submit questions for asked and answered will be placed on the SLCC website under the Human Resources landing page for you to submit questions anonymously. Please click here for the form.

Newly-hired faculty and staff are required to attend a scheduled new-hire benefits orientation session. Sessions are held on the last Friday of each month.
