Career Planning and Assistance

Participants will:

  • learn to write resumes and cover letters
  • learn about careers, majors, and scholarship opportunities
  • learn networking, etiquette, and professional development skills

Mentoring Support

Participants will:

  • be encouraged to achieve academic excellence
  • be empowered to take responsibility for achieving goals
  • be exposed to resources and services to help improve success

Financial Literacy Support

Participants will:

  • learn to set financial goals and create a path to financial success
  • learn the mistakes to avoid when completing the FAFSA
  • learn about the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy and procedures

Tutorial Assistance and Support

Participants will:

  • receive one-on-one and small group tutoring
  • learn study skill techniques
  • have access to resources such as computer lab and books

Early Warning and Referral Services

Participants will:

  • have an early opportunity to correct performance issues
  • be able to calculate their GPA
  • be able to identify and discuss personal barriers to success
