Scholarship Information:
  • Scholarship Application Dates:
    • Academic Year Scholarships (Fall & Spring): March 15 - May 1
    • Spring Scholarships: October 1 - November 15
  • Students MUST complete a FAFSA (federal financial aid application) first before beginning your scholarship application. Students who do not have a completed FAFSA on file at SLCC will not be considered for scholarships.
  • SLCC scholarships use a third-party system called STARS to aid SLCC in the scholarship process. Users are asked to create a profile, which will be used for all future scholarships. 
  • Only winners will be notified via e-mail no less than one week before the corresponding semester. 
  • All scholarship winners must write a thank-you card to the donor(s) and attend a scholarship reception to receive the scholarship money.
  • Scholarship funds are released after the last day to withdraw.
  • Scholarships divided into two or more semesters will be awarded upon successful completion of the prior semester according to each scholarship's criteria.
  • Acceptance of any scholarship constitutes the winner's consent to the publication of other use by SLCC of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media, including the Internet, for any commercial, publicity or promotional purposes, without limitation, review, or approval, or additional compensation. Scholarship recipients also agree to the SLCC Foundation keeping track of their academic progress at SLCC. 
  • By completing and submitting the application, applicants certify that all information is true and correct to the best of their knowledge.
