What’s your ‘why’? Why did you join the DEI Council?
Becoming a member of the DEI council has given me another opportunity to support the SLCC Family/organization.
What change do you hope to see?
My undertaking is to assist an already great institution, become even greater in areas of diversity, fairness, and inclusiveness. I hope our work will foster a change of hearts, educate the willing, and uplift all others.
How can all employees be a part of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at SLCC?
A prosperous culture can be created if we are all willing to learn and appreciate our inconsequential differences. Not that all will agree, but simply understand.
