Federal Work Study
Before applying be sure that you have the following:
- A current completed FAFSA
- Enrolled in at least 6 credit hours
Federal Work-Study is a form of financial aid awarded to students who demonstrate financial need and meet certain eligibility requirements.
FWS students provide supportive services to various departments on campus and in the community. View all available federal work study jobs.
Students earn $10 an hour for on-campus positions and $12 for off-campus positions. They are paid on a bi-weekly basis.
FWS students work a maximum of 15 hours a week.

Submit a FAFSA (and possibly other financial aid documents required by your school) to determine your eligibility. Be sure to mark "yes" to the question on the FAFSA that asks if you are interested in student employment.

Make sure you are enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.

Visit the Office of Financial Aid to complete a Federal Work Study application.
