South Louisiana Community College hosted its first National Adult Education Honor Society (NAEHS) Induction Ceremony on April 28th at the Lafayette Campus. Fifteen Adult Education students were inducted into the National Adult Education Honor Society and recognized for their achievements.
The students that were honored have each demonstrated solid work ethics, self-reliance, leadership, educational achievement, and perseverance throughout their enrollment in SLCC. All nominees are great representatives of the student body due to their determination to excel and their willingness to improve their futures.
“I am proud of our students and their accomplishments,” said Niccola Ledet-McNair, Assistant Director of Adult Education. “They have exhibited patterns of excellence that will serve them extraordinarily well over the course of their lives.”
