Explore your Options

MJ Foster

If you qualify, this grant will cover up to $6,400 of your tuition. Read more about MJ Foster, here.
 

Veteran’s Education Benefits

If you or your parent were active-duty military, federal VA education benefits may be able to cover tuition cost.
 

WIOA Grant

If you are unemployed or working part time, Acadiana Workforce Solutions offers training grants for qualified applicants.
 

SNAP/E&T

If you are currently receiving SNAP benefits, there are grants available to cover some of the tuition cost.
 

Metallica Scholars

This grant is available for students enrolling in SoLAcc’s Precision Machining Course.
 

H&B Young

If you are a resident of Morgan City, you may qualify for an H&B Young grant.
 

Sallie Mae

Loans are an option for many students. Sallie Mae offers loans specifically for career training. 
 

UL Credit Union

If you prefer to work with a local agency, UL Credit Union loans funds to qualify individuals.
 

Specialty scholarships and grants

There are also grants and scholarships that may be available for specific career-training courses.
 

Self-Pay

SoLAcc accepts credit cards, checks, cash, money orders, and cashier’s checks as forms or payment for tuition.
