This May, South Louisiana Community College graduated 643 college students, 81 of which were dually enrolled in high school. In addition, 51 Adult Education students completed high-school equivalency training. More than 650 industry-based certifications were earned by 480 individuals from across Acadiana. Many of these residents will be entering our local workforce and/or moving forward in their educational journeys.
As we work to increase the number of Acadiana residents who hold valued industry-based credentials and college degrees, SLCC is proud to be a key partner with each local community to help with workforce needs and move our parishes forward through higher education. Here’s a quick look at
