South Louisiana Community College (SLCC) is excited to announce an upcoming hiring event, providing a unique opportunity to explore and apply for open faculty and staff positions within the institution. The event is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the SLCC Devalcourt Auditorium in Lafayette. 

The SLCC Hiring Event is an opportunity for individuals seeking to make a meaningful impact on education in the heart of Louisiana. With various positions available in both faculty and staff roles, SLCC aims to attract diverse and talented professionals who are passionate about contributing to the college's mission of providing accessible, high-quality education to the community.

Location: SLCC Devalcourt Auditorium (320 Devalcourt St., Lafayette) 

Attendees will have the opportunity to:  

  • Learn about the diverse career opportunities available at SLCC  
  • Meet with hiring managers and current faculty/staff members  
  • Gain insights into the college's mission, vision, and values  
  • Submit resumes and applications for open positions 

The SLCC Human Resources department will outline the benefits and the Employee Engagement team will highlight perks associated with the positions. Jobseekers attending the event will have on-site assistance with their applications, including guidance on creating user accounts, understanding transcripts, and navigating the next steps in the application process. For those specifically interested in faculty positions, it is advised to bring transcripts for a more streamlined process.
