"Nailing down job opportunities for skilled tradespeople and connecting them with Louisiana businesses is the mission behind our Industrial Trades Job Fair," said Nancy Roy, Director of Client Relations and Student Recruitment at SLCC’s Economic & Workforce Development. "We've discovered that when it comes to sourcing certified and licensed skilled workers, nothing beats the face-to-face interaction and networking opportunities provided by in-person events."
SLCC’s Economic & Workforce Development Department was established in 2015. This division of SLCC offers short-term training for in-demand jobs to meet the needs of the community’s workforce. To learn more visit solacc.edu/workforce.
