SoLAcc’s eLearning office strives to enhance knowledge and skills using digital teaching and learning principles to facilitate future-ready student learning and achievement, and to leverage digital resources to transform a diverse community of learners into global leaders.
Purpose
The Office of eLearning is committed to providing guidance for faculty and students in computer-mediated courses with quality course design and digital teaching and learning principles. We are dedicated to serving the diverse needs of the faculty and students at SoLAcc by providing high-quality educational experiences that utilize accessible technologies in electronic course delivery methods.
Goals
- Enhance the quality of teaching and learning with technology through professional development
- Leverage instructional design and technologies to improve and ensure course quality, provide learner-centered instructional design support, and to increase student success and retention
- Promote and support the use of educational technology to foster learner engagement.
