HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
If you want to drive dozers, excavators, backhoes, and skid steers, our 9-week program in New Iberia is for you! Through a combination of classroom, simulation, and hands-on skills training, you'll learn the fundamental skills of how to safely operate heavy equipment.
You'll graduate with the following credentials:
- NCCER Core
- NCCER Heavy Equipment Level 1
- NCCER Heavy Equipment Level 2
PROGRAM OVERVIEW

- October 14 – December 17, 2024
- January 6, 2024 – March 7, 2025

REQUIREMENTS:
- Age: 18+.
- No High School, GED or HiSET required*
*A high school or HiSET diploma is required for most financial aid grant applications.
