Sexual Assault

Students are strongly encouraged to report incidents and share information about sexual misconduct and harassment, even if the complainant or witness has concerns about underage drinking, drug use or other prohibited activity. 
 

Hearts of Hope
As the only sexual trauma center in Acadiana, Hearts of Hope oversees all sexual assault reporting and case management for children and adult victims in the community. Therapy is provided to survivors of sexual violence free of charge. Their Sexual Assault Response Center offers adult survivors of sexual violence individual therapy, an Adult Survivor Group and an LGBTQ+ Survivor Group.
