Are you transferring to SoLAcc from another schooI? Here are frequently asked questions about transfer credits and transcript evaluations. 

How do I submit my transcripts to SoLAcc?
If you have successfully completed prerequisite courses at another institution, your official transcript must be evaluated by our Registrar’s Office. Official college transcripts should be submitted in one of the following ways:

  • electronically sent following guidelines provided by your former school
  • mailed directly from the former school in a sealed envelope to SoLAcc Admissions Office, 1101 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA 70506.

 Please allow a minimum of 10 days after receipt for the review of transcripts. 

I have submitted my official transcript. When will my official transcript be evaluated?
The Registrar’s Office evaluates and transcribes all incoming official transcripts.  Transcripts will be evaluated in the order in which it has been received.

Where do I see my posted transfer credits?
On your SoLAcc transcript.  Follow the instructions below to print or view your unofficial transcript. Note: all Transferred Grade will have the letter T before the grade earned.

  • Log in to LoLA.
  • Click Student Tab.
  • Locate your Academic profile.
  • Click Academic Transcript.

How many credits can be applied toward a program?
A maximum of 75% of the total credits required of a program can be transferred.
