Industrial Trades Job Fair

SLCC’s Economic and Workforce Development department is hosting its semi-annual Industrial Trades Job Fair for tradespeople to meet with local, hiring employers.

The event will take place on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, from 9 a.m. – noon at SLCC's New Iberia Campus (908 Ember Dr.).

If you are looking for employment as an electrician, deckhand, rigger, plumber, truck driver, carpenter, welder and other skilled trade, this event is for you! Since some companies interview during the event, job seekers should bring copies of their resumes and dress professionally.

Job seekers can save time by pre-registering for the Industrial Trades Job Fair.

For vendors, this is a free event. Our only requirement is that you are currently hiring for skilled tradespeople. Space is limited to 35 exhibitors, so contact Nancy Roy at nancy.roy@solacc.edu to see if space is available.
